A good pass can change the game. So can the right support. 🏐

When local businesses back local sport, that support travels further than the court. It helps clubs grow, players participate and communities stay connected.

Halpin Partners is proud to be part of the Cairns Netball community.

Because good things happen when support gets passed on. 💙

👀 PYTHONS 2027 – SELECTOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
We’re calling for Expressions of Interest from anyone interested in becoming a Pythons Selector for our upcoming 2027 trials.
We’ll be looking for selectors for both the Senior and Junior Pythons Programs — and you do not necessarily need previous selector experience.
Guidance, information and support will be provided. Being involved as a selector is a great opportunity to:
🐍 Contribute to a transparent selection process
🐍 Ensure clubs across our region have representation and involvement
🐍 Bring a mix of experience and perspectives to the selection panel
🐍 Develop your understanding of talent identification and selection
🐍 Learn more about the athletes in our region
🐍 Play a role in supporting athletes as they progress through their netball pathway
We’re also improving the way information is recorded throughout trials this year. While access to a laptop would be beneficial, laptops will be available and a paper option will also be provided — so please don’t let that stop you from putting your hand up!
👀 INTERESTED IN BECOMING A SELECTOR? Please email pythons@cairnsnetball.net.au and include:
• Name
• DOB
• Contact number
• Email address
• Brief summary of your netball/selection experience
• Whether you are interested in Senior, Junior or both
• Please clearly identify SELECTOR in the email subject
📅 SENIOR TRIAL DATES
Thursday 15 October
5.00pm arrival | 5.30pm–8.30pm
Tuesday 20 October
5.00pm arrival | 5.30pm–8.30pm
Thursday 22 October
5.00pm arrival | 5.30pm–8.30pm
If you’re interested, experienced or simply keen to learn more about the selection process, we’d love to hear from you.
